On the Road

We hit the road recruiting new campers this past week, and its been wonderful to see all the smiling faces of our Highlander families. We’re headed in many different directions this year to spread the word about Camp Highlander. Remember to check our schedule to see if we’ll be in your area and if you are interested in hosting a show just contact the office.
We had our first bit of snow this past weekend in Pisgah. Nothing on camp, but we promise to take pictures just as soon as there is. We are actually in the process of taking pictures of all the beautiful fall colors so stay tuned to the website for those.
And many have asked about the our camp horses and how they are doing. Our two babies are getting so big and are a fun handful. They are out in the pastures now, enjoying playing with all the other camp horses. Vicki is taking good care of all of them.
We had such a big turnout for our priority registration and sessions are filling up. Make sure if you haven’t applied for the summer of 2010 that you do so soon. And stay tuned to the website for updates on changes to session availability. It appears summer of 2010 is going to be better then ever.
Hope you all read Melissa’s article in the newest Campfire Quarterly about the big surprise for 2010. Any ideas? Post them to the website…though we’re not sure any of you will ever guess this surprise.
